About AJW - Andrew J. Wainwright

I started AJW Specialty Lumber in 1998 because of my life-long passion for wood.

I currently manage 300 acres of bush, and have over fifteen years experience in logging, sawing and kiln drying wood. These activities have given me a deep understanding of the nature of wood, which enables me to source higher quality lumber and complete excellent millwork.

In the last decade, I have completed a wide variety of millwork projects from curved stair parts to a winery door. This experience, coupled with my passion for fine furniture building (visit AJW Studio Furniture) has resulted in my developing a broad set of skills and knowledge to help you with your woodworking needs.
